A global cinema club
Window Seat is a film club that screens hand-picked global cinema in cinemas across London. Every film is screened in its original language with English subtitles, no dubbing. Every screening takes you to a different part of the world, you just have to look out of the window seat.
dir. Jean-Pierre Jeunet (2001)
A shy Parisian waitress decides to orchestrate small acts of kindness for the strangers around her, while quietly falling for a man who collects discarded photobooth pictures. A whimsical trip through Montmartre.

We'd love your suggestions. Tell us the film, and if you like, why it matters to you. The programme is shaped by what our audience wants to travel to next.
The Club
"Cinema is the only art form that lets you sit in the dark with strangers and travel somewhere you've never been."
Window Seat exists to make world cinema feel like a shared evening out again. We programme films from directors you might not have heard of, hosted in independent cinemas that deserve full houses. Come for a Senegalese classic on a Tuesday, stay for the conversation at the pub across the road.
